The TacticID®–GP is a field-ready handheld spectral analysis instrument designed for non-contact forensic analysis by a variety of safety personnel and first responders, including law enforcement personnel, customs and border patrol, hazmat technicians, bomb squads, and more. The TacticID-GP utilizes proven Raman
spectroscopy, allowing users to get real-time actionable identification of unknown
chemicals, explosives, narcotics, pharmaceutical drugs and many other substances while reducing operational uncertainty and response time. Raman provides reliable results non-destructively by direct measurement of samples with no need for further sample preparation.

TacPac™ Adaptor
The optional TacPac adaptor allows for simple and accurate identification of street heroin and other traditionally difficult Raman samples. The adaptor uses Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), which is a state-of-the-art identification technique that provides global law enforcement users with a new tool in the fight against heroin.

Sampling Accessories:
In addition to the optional TacPac adaptor, the TacticID-GP can use multiple other accessories. The included point-and-shoot adaptor is versatile for many situations and included vial holder is ideal for liquid samples. The included right angle adaptor is ideal for quick throughput sampling without moving samples. Also included is a Polystyrene Standard cap for validation testing.
