Description
The model Type 317 is a replacement for the Type 133/131. Test Stirrer/Timer performs to the EC standard and is recommended by the Water Research Centre for assessing the stability of a sewage sludge. Often used in conjuction with the CST apparatus, the sludge is subjected to high-speed stirring simulating different degrees of imposed shear. This will asses the physical strength of the conditioned sludge flocs, and determine the stability of sludge for different types of dewatering equipment.
