| This instrument eliminates the minute errors caused in any instrument when measuring at varying thicknesses. The lever activated upper anvil descends by gravity (dead weight) and will have uniform surface pressure at any given point of travel, from .0005" to a full 1/2" thickness. The DW Model can also be supplied with a delayed action mechanism to reduce the speed at which the upper anvil descends. |
